Blink

Blink!

Something has changed!

I opened my eyes this morning and something has changed;

Blink!

Vision clearing…

…There’s something wrong with the picture on the wall –

Is it crooked?

Blink!

Something has changed!

No matter how hard I try I cannot straighten it;

It won’t go back to the way it was before.

Perspective’s altered.

Blink!

Eyes straining.

What is it?

What is wrong with the picture?

It has always been there.

It hasn’t moved.

Why has it changed?

It doesn’t make sense!

Who is the artist?

What is he trying to tell me?

Blink!

Look deeper!

Look with different eyes.

Look at it from above, from the side,

follow the lines, join the dots.

Blink!

Who told me it was meant to be viewed that way?

Was it the shop-keeper?

He sold me a lie!

I have been looking at it from the wrong angle for all these years;

Better to see with the eyes of the artist.

Blink!

Now I see.

The painting hasn’t changed;

I have!

WHY should I label myself a CHRISTIAN?

Published May 6, 2015 by Laura Crean Author

Right now I feel like I am having to fight for my right to call myself a Christian. I feel God speaking to me recently through my interactions with others, so I am sharing.  Some people both Christians AND non Christians may not like it, but to be honest I don’t care. I am trying to get on with my own spiritual journey and I have had trouble over the years BELIEVE me trying to justify to MYSELF why I would want to be called a Christian; and so whilst I have been trying to explain my point of view to other people just lately – I feel it has just been God speaking to ME. Why should I label myself a Christian? This is what I have to say…

I think you are just focusing on that word far too much, you are worrying about it, obsessing over it. yes it is a label, it is a NAME – but it is just a word to describe the body of Christ – his people and – how you see yourself. You ARE you and God made you YOU, the individual. He gave you an individual fingerprint and an individual personality and he stamped HIS LOVE for YOU, your individuality on your heart. He died for YOU. And he wants YOU to come to him “just as you are” – as YOU are – he doesn’t want a carbon copy “Christian” He wants YOU with all your individual quirks and lovely self – but he wants you also to be a part of HIS “body” which is his people, his church – his “CHRISTIAN” people – a label WE give for the BODY AND BRIDE of CHRIST that sets us apart as his most special, beautiful people that he has called INDIVIDUALLY through each of our hearts. We need to have a name to link us to God and what better name than that of the one who gave his life so that you might live forever! I am pouring all of this out of my heart and I feel like it is God writing this right now. I feel maybe he would be afraid that you are missing the point! The point is Jesus. We are not Jews, we are not Muslims, we are not Buddhists, we are not New-~Age crystal worshippers – we might understand about where some of this stuff is coming from but we can see it as being a part of the stuff that goes on in the physical world that God says – yes it’s all real, it’s all valid as in symbolic for certain things but don’t worship it – worship me through my son who I have given for YOU so that you will know how special YOU are to me. We are not all those other groups – those labels – we are CHRISTIANS because we are in CHRIST we are re-born in his image. I can’t keep going round and round trying to make you see through my eyes – I want that label – I WANT to be a Christian; I don’t want to be a Jew like my Mum’s family, I don’t want to be a Buddhist BUT I understand where my Mum is coming from because the old ways LED to the new ways, the NEW testament – that Jesus is the way, the truth, the LIFE. I understand the ways of Buddha and I think Jesus did too; so I meditate as I have always done, but now I meditate with scripture in my heart so that I can close my eyes and meet God in that quiet place, really go inside myself and come into his presence. I understand about the UFO and alien culture and I follow what’s going on there because I believe it is leading to the end days and they are part of the angelic battle – but I don’t worship them, I worship Jesus for saving us from the devil’s plan! To lead us away from God! So I call myself a Christian – a name Jesus would not have called himself – he was a Jew but he said the old ways were DEAD which is why he had to die, to bring us a new way THROUGH HIM and yes we probably could have labelled that Jesus movement in any way – but WE – his church, his BODY labelled it after his name so that we would always remember that through CHRIST EVERYTHING is possible and only through him can we live FOREVER! If you don’t believe that then I’m just spitting words into your face and not into your heart and I can do no more to say how I feel about it. This is how I feel and how I feel GOD is talking to me and through me for YOU. But if you don’t want to label yourself as Christian that is STILL YOUR choice – nobody is going to hate you for it – I love you, God loves you, stop worrying about a LABEL a WORD and get on with getting to know HIM.

More to crop circles than pretty pictures!

Published May 4, 2014 by Laura Crean Author

I love this video. It links the crop circle phenomenon to our evolving spirituality and basically how sound and love are linked to the universe expressing itself in an ever expanding entity that grows more and more with love and understanding as it expands, expressing itself in all entities that it creates. UFOs and alien beings, in this explanation, are entities that are trying to help us discover this encoded vibrational expression of life and want us to understand this spirituality before we jump ahead with creating technology that we don’t understand fully and may misuse i.e.. not using it in love and understanding. Makes sense to me!

Movie Trailers that just seem…well…disturbing!

Published April 17, 2014 by Laura Crean Author

Any thoughts on why I find these movie trailers disturbing?

Time Travellers United

OK…now this might just be me, but whilst searching awesome movie trailers to mind blowing films to watch this year – 2 caught my eye. Why? Well, watch them both and then see if you can spot the coincidences. Also, is it just me or have these films, both scheduled for release in February 2014, not actually been released yet? Well I haven’t seen them in the cinema yet? Anybody want to actually say what I’m sure you will know is on my mind…

2 particular things caught my eye – and they involved numbers and a certain landing strip!!!

Is the idea of robotic music just a Pipe dream?

Published April 8, 2014 by Laura Crean Author

I came across this video yesterday  on Facebook. A friend of mine had posted it.   Actually I had seen this video before a few years ago and had thought it was incredible then. However what I hadn’t known, was that this video, called “Pipe Dream” was actually a computer generated animation. At first I was rather disappointed because I had been in awe of the engineering and creative skill behind it, but then I came across this next video. It showed how real engineers at Intel had been inspired by the animation to come up with the real thing.

And then I really got hooked so I had a look to see if there were any more cool music and machine collaborations – check them out…

This next one is crazy! Think Punk rock robots and you’ll get the idea of where this is heading…

The Robots are taking over…

Write? Write what? OK here’s something involving aliens for the kids…

Published February 10, 2014 by Laura Crean Author

Good morning Word Pressers.  I find myself a little lost this morning.  I keep seeing all your wonderful blogs rolling out posts day after day and everyone seems to be feverishly beavering away with interesting articles and news about their various wonderful writing projects.  And then there’s me, thinking, what am I doing?  It’s February, I just had my birthday, I’m 41… past the half way mark and I’m sure my life is going in reverse instead of forward full throttle.  My head is all over the place, and my life is…well stuck!

So I thought I would stop worrying about everything today and share a little kids book I have been messing around with.  It’s for one of my little girl’s friends so that is why it has the rather weird and wonderful title “Poppy’s Close Encounter of the Purple Kind”.  My first story with aliens in it LOL.

Even though this is a children’s story, it is actually inspired by the true story of an incident that happened in Zimbabwe in 1994 when 62 schoolchildren reported an encounter with aliens in their school yard.  If you want to know more about this story you can follow this link to an article and video on UFO Blogger http://www.ufo-blogger.com/2013/01/zimbabwe-alien-encounter-62-ariel.html

Poppy’s Close encounter of the Purple Kind

Chapter One

There was a quiet panic in the playground, if you can imagine such a thing.  Poppy knew something was going on the minute she opened the cloakroom door.  She ran out into the playground, feverishly trying to do up her coat and run at the same time, towards the commotion that was building at the fence on the other side of the field.  Other kids were running past her and she heard a boy say quietly to his mate: “You gotta see this!”

As she joined the throng of curious onlookers, she tried to find out what all the fuss was about and she turned to a girl she knew in her class.

“Gabby!  What’s going on?”  She asked in an excited voice.  Gabby grabbed Poppy’s sleeve in one hand and Alice’s in the other as she panted: “You’re never going to believe what’s going on!”

“What is it?”  Alice laughed as the 3 girls sprinted across the field towards the growing crowd of kids.

“It’s Aliens!”  Gabby said in a loud sort of a whisper as if she wanted to shout it out but didn’t want to let the teachers know.

“Aliens?”  Poppy and Alice exclaimed together.  Poppy wasn’t sure whether she should laugh or just go with the game.  It was obviously a good game if the whole school was getting involved!

Poppy and Alice exchanged amused but baffled expressions as the girls came to the back of the crowd.  Gabby being Gabby started ploughing her way through the group of smaller kids who all seemed to be in some kind of trance, eyes wide and mouths open in awe!

Straight away Poppy noticed how quiet it was.  Something wasn’t right.  With all of these kids and a game about aliens it should be noisy not quiet – it was completely still too.  She started to get butterflies in her tummy as they pushed their way through what appeared to be the whole of year 3.

Suddenly they were through and she stumbled to a stop as Gabby and Alice both gasped and she blinked a few times trying to get a grip of what she was looking at.  Gabby had been right – it was aliens!

“Oh my…”  Poppy started but couldn’t finish.  There in the corner of the school field was a flying saucer.  A real live, glowing, humming, purple flying saucer and sitting on top of the craft was a little blue alien waving at the kids.

Poppy shook her head and rubbed her eyes as another saucer appeared hovering above the trees and seemed to flash its beams at the other craft that was hovering just a few centimetres above the grass.  There were 2 more little blue aliens standing on the grass in front of the saucer and the kids had made a great big semi-circle around them as more and more kids had come to see what was going on.

Poppy looked around at all the stunned faces and tried to see if any teachers were seeing this, but there didn’t seem to be any teachers out on the playground yet.  She looked back at the saucer.  She wondered what they wanted and for some reason she felt really brave, so she started walking towards the craft.

The 2 aliens that had been standing by the saucer seemed to be startled by her movements towards them and they disappeared in a comical little ‘pop!’  One second they were there, the next they were gone!  The group of children all gasped in one moment.  Poppy stopped for a second in shock but then she pulled herself together and carried on approaching the space ship.

“Poppy!  Poppy don’t!”  Alice whispered harshly, but she was feeling really brave and rather curious.

The alien on top of the ship also appeared to be curious and he seemed to fly down, or rather float, towards the rather adventurous advancing Poppy.  There was another gasp from the crowd of kids as Poppy and the alien were soon face to face.

“Hello!”  She said rather simply to the strange little alien.  She could tell somehow that he was amused, although his mouth was so small, just a little slit really, that she couldn’t tell if he was smiling or not.  Also his eyes were so strangely bug like, and with no eyebrows, she couldn’t really tell what his expression might be.  She just sort of got the impression that he was laughing at her.  Then she actually heard the alien talk to her in her mind, not moving his mouth at all.  “Aren’t you scared of me?”  He asked.

“Why?  Should I be?”  She laughed.

The little alien held out his long, spidery, blue arm with 4 very long spindly fingers and she took it and shook it without a second thought.

“No!”  He answered, “I’m not going to hurt you.  I just wanted to say hello.”

Poppy laughed and said “Hello” again.  It was very, very quiet.  Even the birds seemed to be silently watching the scene.  Then the alien reached into his very tight, pale blue space suit and pulled something out to give to Poppy.  It was a gold coin.  He put it in her hand and said: “If you want me to visit again, just spin the coin and I will come back, but I have to go now because your teachers are coming.”

He let go of her hand and ‘pop!’  He was gone!  There was another gasp from the kids and the flying saucer lifted gently in the air, flashing lots of different colours and then back to purple – then – ‘zip!’  It shot off into the sky and was gone.

Suddenly 2 teachers pushed through the group of kids and all the children turned towards the teachers, still in shock.

“What on earth is going on over here?”  Miss Murray asked.  Suddenly half of the year 3 kids started crying and Gabby said: “It was aliens Miss!”

Cube UFO Dream

Published January 26, 2014 by Laura Crean Author

Reblogging as part of my dream blog – my weird cube dream UFO from Friday 24th Jan 2014

Time Travellers United

26/01/2014

OK So I had a dream about cube UFOs last night. I dreamt that these cube UFOs came down to Earth and they were somehow protecting me, I got a feeling of love from them. Now I instantly thought about the Borg when I woke up but obviously they have a negative connotation whereas the cube UFOs in my dream had a positive one, so I don’t know what that was all about but I thought I would share. I have never heard of cube UFOs before apart from the Borg in Science-Fiction so the first thing i did today was look it up and this is what i have found.

So there you go. Is there something to the dream? Don’t know but I have cubes and tesseracts on the brain now!

Update 30/06/2015

I just came across this video and it blew my mind because of all…
