My Grammar Resource – Prepositions

Published November 13, 2014 by Laura Crean Author

Just when I think we have covered nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs – along come these little extra words…

Oh Lord!  Ever get the feeling this English Language business just goes a little bit over the top with all the rules and grammar tools? LOL

I think that’s enough you tube for today – time to hit the books…

My Grammar Resource – quick recap of nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs

Published November 13, 2014 by Laura Crean Author

This teacher is fun – this helps ( a bit more) but I’m still not completely set…

O…K lets add some music…

This is fun if you are a teacher – I could use this in the children’s workshops that way I might actually look like I know my verbs from my adverbs LOL

Who am I kidding?  I’m still confused – especially when I am given a long, complicated sentence and asked to identify the nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs.  I think my head is going to explode! LOL

Help!  Any teachers out there want to break it down really, really simply for me and show me how each word in the sentence works and how they all interrelate?

My Grammar Resource – Adverbs AND Adjectives

Published November 13, 2014 by Laura Crean Author

OK.  So this is where I start to get confused!  Hope I can get the hang of all these word classes before the exam!

So adverbs can modify verbs, adjectives AND other adverbs, they give more information.  I don’t know about you, but I am finding it quite difficult to differentiate between Adjectives and Adverbs.  I’m hoping that watching these videos a few times might help me.  Comments welcome and if you have a resource you think might help me to learn my word classes, please, please, please add it in the comments.  Thank you.

I think I need more time to get this…

This is quite a useful little lesson
