2014 in review

Published December 30, 2014 by Laura Crean Author

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.  It was fun to see who enjoyed my posts and which posts attracted the most attention…

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,500 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 42 trips to carry that many people.

The Well in the Garden

Lord above I implore you hear my cries

Lord in whatever dimension you are hiding behind these cold dark skies

I am dying day by day for intervention

I cannot cope without love, a kind word, some warm affection

My life is running by with no direction

No one cares, no one dares to offer up a helping hand

Isolation pulls me down like sinking sand

And here I stand…

I shout and cry with silent eye at all who walk my way

Why do you never answer when I pray?

I smile at all and talk with kindness too

I do my duties as a single mother and try to muddle through

But no one sees me no one hears me when I speak

Are you a jungle fan? Catch up on the news in the jungle or if you want some jungly inspiration as a writer or for children’s jungly crafts and stories…

Well I have absolutely loved all the antics in the jungle this series and I have really enjoyed Jimmy’s cheeky banter and silliness.  He has made it very entertaining to watch, messing around in camp and screaming like a little girl during the tasks – he’s a bit of a coward really isn’t he?  He has had me in stitches when he has tried to cope with all the critters – and failed miserably!  His rather over the top bromance with Foggy has been interesting to watch too.  Although Jimmy didn’t quite bond with Jake to the same degree, did he?  What was all that bitchy ranting about on Saturday?  I was shocked when Jimmy appeared to completely overreact to Jake mistaking him for Michael and tore into poor Jake like a hound to a fox.  I think he realised he had overreacted but couldn’t seem to turn it around. …

Can’t wait for the next episode.  Who will take over as the camp joker?

See you soon jungle fans and if you want your little ones to join in the jungle fun – my children’s workshops theme happens to be the jungle at the moment – purely coincidental I can assure you LOL http://rainbowruneblog.wordpress.com/   and if any grown ups would like some inspiration for some jungly creative writing – http://thewellinthegarden.wordpress.com/2014/11/20/deep-forest-deep-forest/

the adventure continues…
