I have had a very busy day. Got on the soap box this morning at the Eastbourne Writes Festival in the Enterprise centre and read some poetry AND some of The Realm of the Purple Dragon. I also met up with some of the lovely members of the Anderida writers group AND the New Eastbourne Writers. Had a good old chat with and enjoyed hearing from other local authors and artisits. I was also extremely excited to be able to take part in a drawing workshop with the illustrator of the Harry Potter books no less – Cliff Wright. I couldn’t draw for the excitement. 😀 I then managed to participate in more readings in the early evening at the Tome Book shop – Wow! We really do have some talented authors and poets in Eastbourne. Fantastic event organised by Brigitte Sumner and thanks to Tony Flood and the Anderida Writers group for letting me be a part of it. I hope I can get up nice and early tomorrow and get to the Towner art gallery to take part in an Art workshop run by Gillian Toft and see more great writers and atists sharing their creativity with Eastbourne.

I can’t believe I didn’t get any photos of me doing readings today – too busy participating to grab someone to take a picture I suppose. It was fun though!
Update – managed to find some more photos of me on the day. These were taken by Brigitte Sumner-Djie.
