‘Spinning in the Park’ by Laura Crean.

OK – so it is week 2 of the Easter school holidays and day 8 of The National Poetry Writing Month.  I decided to observe my daughter and her friends playing in the park today and wondered how I could write a poem about all the amazing things that they got up to.  I decided to just write lots of (ing) words down and thought – That will make an interest (ing) poem! LOL

Walking

Running

Chasing

Catching

Hiding

Finding

Screaming

Shouting

Whistling

Whispering

Singing

Dancing

Skipping

Clapping

Fighting

Arguing

Annoying

Messing

Planning

Scheming

Laughing

Joking

Comforting
